During the last week or so my car has intermittently had a problem right
after shifting into 2nd gear. The problem is that once I've shifted into 2nd
gear the best way to describe it is like it catches on something and the car
won't go momentarily, it kind of feels like its not engaging the gear. If I let
off the gas and then reapply it, it accelerates normally. As I mentioned, this
happens only occasionally and immediately AFTER I've shifted into 2nd,
not during the shift so there is not grinding. Each time I've noticed it is
during easy acceleration as well. No problems with any other gear to date.Since it only happens occasionally it has been difficult to diagnose. Any experience with similar type symptoms or diagnosis suggestions to
determine the cause would be welcome.
